Andrew Yale Winston was
born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1968. He attended the
Pennsylvania State University, and earned his B.A. in
Sociology from Temple University, graduating cum laude,
with honors, in 1990.
Andrew then moved to
Florida in 1991 to attend law school at Nova Southeastern
University and graduated in 1994. He gained experience at two
major insurance defense firms in South Florida before joining
forces with John K. Lawlor in 1998 to form Lawlor & Winston,
P.A. In 1999, Cam F. Justice joined the firm, and the name
changed to Lawlor, Winston & Justice, P.A.
Andrew is admitted to
practice before all Florida courts and the United States 11th
Circuit Court of Appeals. He is an active Eagle member of the
Florida Justice Association, the Broward County Justice
Association, the
Broward Bar Association,
the Kentucky Justice Association,
the Louisville Bar
Association
and the American
Association for Justice. He is the past Chair of the Florida
Bar’s Grievance Committee 17D, and currently serves as a
Florida Bar Fee Arbitrator and as President-Elect of the
Broward County Justice Association. Andrew was a volunteer
Guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children in
Broward County for 11 years, and has been recognized for his
success in representing injured clients by admission to the
Million Dollar Advocate’s Forum.
Andrew's practice focuses
on the areas of general personal injury, medical malpractice,
wrongful death and the personal representation of Physicians
and Lawyers in malpractice and ethics matters. |
