John K. Lawlor
 

 

John Kennedy Lawlor was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1963.  He received his B.A. degree in 1991 from Barry University in Miami, Florida and obtained his law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1994.  Following several years of hard work at local litigation firms, John opened his own office in 1996, and formed a partnership with Andrew Winston in 1998. 

Capitalizing on his wide and varied background, which includes business litigation, criminal defense trial work and matrimonial law, John has led the firm’s efforts to bring cases to trial as quickly as possible.  He is admitted to practice before all Florida courts and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is an active Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, the Broward County Justice Association, the Broward Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, the Louisville Bar Association, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  He has routinely accepted pro bono cases through Broward Lawyer’s Care. 

John’s practice focuses on complex litigation and trial work in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death.
